Independent Indoor Cycling Workshop Presenter, 1996 to the present. • Present original workshops for new and advanced indoor cycling instructors in Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami, Boston, Boulder, Hong Kong, and elsewhere.
Director of Cycling Programs, Bodies in Motion Company, CA, 1996 to 1998.
• Created company's unique "RoadRacers™" indoor cycling program and served as the full-time manager of all aspects of the cycling program at the company's four LA area clubs, overseeing fifty instructors, 100 classes per week, and 100 bicycles.
• Handled all media coverage, created and led ongoing instructor development, wrote and provided instructor manuals and teaching guidelines.
• Taught six classes a week at flagship club in Century City, CA, including 45 and 75 minute classes, intro classes, heartrate efficiency classes, and special training classes.
• Organized and led ten hour "Adventure Sunday" multisport day quarterly.

• Iditarod Trail, Alaska, 100 mile snowshoe and 200 mile mountain bike races, six time finisher, 1988-1996.
• Seven time world cycling record holder: San Francisco to Los Angeles, 24 Hour Mountain Bike, Trans-California, Death Valley Double Crossing, etc.
Writing / Editing Background
Has published over 250 articles on fitness, lifestyle, cycling, triathlon, scuba diving, snowshoeing, adventure, travel, history, and others in 30 different publications. Served as Special Features Editor of Fitness Plus Magazine, Adventure Sports Correspondent for Oui Magazine, Contributing Editor for Bicycle Guide Magazine and ULTRA Cycling Magazine, and columnist for Endurance News, among other positions.

Chris owns and operates AdventureCORPS, Inc,, an extreme sports event production, expedition planning, and life trainings firm based in Oak Park, CA. This athlete-run company is involved in a widely varied but interconnected variety of pursuits in the world of outdoor sports, total fitness, and human potential. With his company, Chris organizes the Furnace Creek 508 bicycle race, Badwater 135 Ultramarathon, Badwater Salton Sea, and Badwater Cape Fear ultra running races, the biannual Death Valley Century and Double Century, Mount Laguna Bicycle Classic, CORPScamps in Death Valley and elsewhere, as well as other endurance sports events. He also founded and organized the inaugural LA Marathon Bike Tour, Team Race Across America, and Earth Journey Triathlon, among other unique events.
