Tone Loc wasn't so exciting, at least while I was there. He had his posse on stage and was hardly speaking/singing/rapping at all, letting the posse do the work instead. We all wanted to hear "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" but they weren't to be heard while I was there. I also thought breaking into "I Shot the Sheriff" was a poor choice for that neighborhood. Loc's still got that trademark gravelly bass voice, though. I just wish he'd been strutting his stuff while I was in the 'hood. He had quite a crowd. This was around mile 5.
