Ironman Revisited: Post-Race Party at the Waikiki Aquarium

Photos by Chris Kostman, Aug 26, 2002: All 29 entrants finished the event and each one of us was awarded the "hole in the head" trophy. Each one was made by Commander John Colllins as replicas of the trophies that he made and awarded for the 1978 and 1979 Ironmans. We were also awarded this nifty polo shirt, plus an Ironman visor and the awesome medal and shell necklace that we received at the finish line. Great keepsakes to go with our great memories!
