Ironman Revisited: Post-Race Party at the Waikiki Aquarium / R0010731

He's standing with a local cyclist named Collin whom he met due to some "unusual circumstances": Dan's support car was broken into during the swim and his duffle bag with all his racing food and his bike shoes was stolen. Dan learned this when he exited the water. So he got on his bike and headed out to do the 100 mile bike course with tiny Speedplay pedals and running shoes. Within a few miles he happened upon Colllin, who was heading out for a ride. Collin has the same size feet as Dan. They started talking. And the next thing they knew, Collin was loaning his shoes and pedals to Dan to use for the race! Now that's sportsmanship, that's Hawaii, that's Ironman!
