An email from ride organizer William Medina about the Pre-Event Bicycle Tour: "We will be meeting at the La Bombonera Restaurant at 6:30 am. Yup, nice and early. This place will be open for us 1 hour before and San Juan Cycling Club will treat you all to some fresh brewed Puertorican coffee and a 'mallorca' with butter and powdered sugar. This will turn on the motors for sure. Then Steven and Maripili will be guiding you through the route that will take you around the fortified City of Old San Juan, cobblestone street, the Capitol, Convention Center, Condado's Asford Avenue (tourist mecca), Ocean Park, Isla Verde, Pinones and miles of coconut plantations and beach shoreline, the Performing Arts Center, Financial Center, Puerto Rico Coliseum, BIKE (official bike shop of the MIchelob ULTRA Lighthouse Cycling Tour of Puerto Rico), Miramar, famous "Placita de Santurce" and back to Old San Juan ending at the Headquarters of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company where a press conference for the Tour will be held."
