Adventure Travel
AdventureCORPS’ travel offerings are offered in the USA and the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh. USA-based travel offerings include a wine- and food-themed running camp in Solvang, California and a six-day SUP paddleboard expedition on Montana’s Upper Missour River. In Armenia and Artsakah an annual “Artsakh Ultra” six-day trail running race is offered, along with active vacations featuring visits to ancient monasteries, Christian sites, and castles, as well as the dramatic landscape, fantastic food, delicious wine, and ancient Armenian culture. These trips can include daily trail running, hiking, or mountain biking, while enjoying everything Armenia and Artsakh have to offer. Each Armenia trip ties in with annual cultural events such as an air festival, honey festival, wine festival, and harvest festival.
Our Adventure Travel offerings are led by Chris Kostman, an archaeologist and former professional cyclist who is a certified Wilderness First Responder and ACA-certified Standup Paddleboard coach. Chris is a Fellow of The Explorers Club, speaks multiple languages. and has traveled in more than forty countries. “Seeking and sharing adventure” has been his personal manifesto for his entire life.
